About Kaudiyala
Inspite of being a tiny village on the lower part of Himalayas at an altitude of 330 ft, Kaudiyala is the famous sight for tourists, especially for adventurers. This sight which located on the banks of Ganges serves as the starting point for rafting across the river. There are nearly 11 – 13 points for starting rafting, between Rishikesh and Kaudiyala. All Grade (I – VI) rapids are available. Tourists who are fond of rafting must take help from local rafting guide and start accordingly. I can assure you that one’s adrenaline will pump up high while rafting at Kaudiyala. Photograph enthusiasts can click some fabulous shots on the way to this sight. Rare animals, birds can be spotted here. GMVN’s rafting camp is well known in this area.
