About Arang
Arang is situated in the Raipur city. The city is also known as city of temples. Bhandewal temple, which is dedicated to the Jain sect, is the prime attraction of the city. The temple displays tantalizing architectural mastery; the idols of the Jain Tirthankara are carved out beautifully from Black stone. Another Famous religious spot is the Mahamaya temple; it is believed that all the 24 Jain Tirthankara are carved here on a single stone. Both shrines are of high religious importance and attract devotees from all over the country.
