About Gandheswar Temple
Gandheswar Temple is situated at a distance of 90 kms from the heart of the city. The shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built by Vasata in the 7th century. Walls of the temple describe the story of Shiv Leela. The temple houses an idol of Lord Buddha touching the mother earth’s land. Thousands of tourists and devotees throughout the year flood the temple.
