About Vivekanand Sarovar
Vivekanand Sarovar is also known as the Bura Talab and is located in the heart of the city. In the center of the lake, a 37 feet high statue of Swami Vivekananda has been installed recently. The statue is made of bronze and is in the sitting position. The beautiful garden-island that surrounds the lake is much admired by the tourists. It is one of the most beautiful sites in Raipur. One can enjoy boating also.
