About Chele La Pass
Chele La Pass is one of the highest points or passes of Bhutan with a height of about 3,988 meters (13,084 ft), crossed by a highway of Bhutan. This pass is itself a beautiful spot which gives a splendid view of the neighboring mountains Jomolhari and Jichu Drake and also Paro and Ha valleys. You can find here hundreds of prayer flags, which makes it a colorful and lovely place. You have to drive for 2hours from Paro to reach this vantage point. One can spot the Himalayan yaks grazing around the pass. This place is the perfect example of ‘Nature at its Best’. It also gives some marvelous views of The Himalayas.
