About Lingamala Waterfalls
Lingamala Falls is about 6 kilometers away from Mahabhaleshwar, close to Panchgani. The cascade plummets from a height of 600 feet and its stream unites with the water of Venna Lake. The best time to visit Lingamala falls will most definitely be during the monsoons when one can experience the enchanting waters speeding against the boulders and occasionally carving rainbows with the sunshine. But tourists can also make a quick trip anytime before the spring season strikes. Also the vicinity near the waterfall is bound by incredible foliage and jungles. It unquestionably proves to be a splendid experience, especially after blistering heat of a long Indian summer.
