About Neora National Park
Neora National Park is located Lava in the foothills of the Himalayan Ranges in Kalimpong. The national park is covered with lush green forests and is a home to the rare of the rarest species of the world. The parkis maintained by the forest department and was established in 1986. One can find species of wild animals like red panda, Himalayan black bear, tiger, wild dog and goral freely moving in this park. This is a heaven for birds and reptiles. The park is a home for thousands of Birds redstart, golden-headed black finch and Himalayan griffon. The reptiles include King cobra, blind snakes and viper.
