Mananthavady is a town in the Wayanad district located at the banks of tributary Mananthavady Puzha. The place has a tomb of Pazhassi Raja who once ruled this town. Being in the town best would be to explore the Latin Church and Valliyoorkkavu which is a temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. Also do visit the Mananthavady Park where one can see the bat colonies.
