About Bharat Mata Temple
Being located near Sapt Sarovar, this temple is a much visited Mandir in Haridwar. This temple was inaugurated by Smt. Indira Gandhi in 1983. It was established by Swami Satyamitranand Giri. This 8 storeyed temple is of 180 ft in height. Tourists can see that each floor represents different mythology, deities of God and Goddess and legends. This temple also pays tribute to all freedom fighters, who fought for the Independence of India.
