About Brahmagiri Hill, Nashik
Brahmagiri is a mountain range in the Western Ghats in Maharashtra belonging to the Nashik district. These hills are the birth place of River Godavari and hold religious importance as they are mentioned many times in mythological stories. These terrains offer adventure travels such as nature walks and trekking. The trek is beginner friendly and not more than 2km long, there are many trails through the woods. The panorama of the Brahmagiri hills is a bonus! You will have to climb about 750 steps to reach the temple of Ganga with utmost caution even though there are iron rails to help you support yourself. You must avoid carrying things in loose as the monkeys are quite mischievous. It is very well connected with buses but a drive up can be quite soothing with a beautiful view and a few places to see on the way like Ganga dwar, Gorakshanath caves, and 108 Swayambhu Mahadev caves.
