Located in Ahmedabad and situated behind Dada Hari’s tomb, Dada Harir Step Well is an octagonal shaped step well located below the ground level created to meet up with the water requirements of locals and tourists. It was built during Mehmud Begda’s rule in the year 1501. The intricate carvings on the walls of the well, its systematic planning, design and its sheer beauty attract a huge number of tourist every year from all over the world, as it showcases our unique architectural designs made us of during those times.
