About Rani Roopmati Mosque
Located in Ahmedabad city, Rani Roopmati mosque was built by Sultan Mehmud Beghara for his beloved wife Rani Roopmatis in the year 1430 AD. The specialty of this monument is that it very well incorporates both the Hindu and Muslim style of architecture. Its intricate wall carvings, 3 domes, sculptured minarets, beautiful galleries and its elevated platform at the center attract huge number of tourists to this historical place every year. This mosque is open on all days and the entry timings are from 7 am to 7 pm. Its beauty, uniqueness, historical significance and its architecture is something that would interest anybody who chooses to be here. Make sure one spends at least 3-4 hour here.
