About National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi
Ministry of Environment and Forests of India manages the National Museum of Natural History in New Delhi. Located on the Mandi House intersection, the museum was started in 1972. The museum’s focus is on India’s natural wealth. There are three separate galleries entirely dedicated to Ecology, Environment and History. There are enormous displays which help you to gain knowledge about resource conservation of forests, land, water and air. The museum is dedicated to environmental education and there is a great deal to learn here.
