About Ntangki National Park
The Intaki Wildlife Sanctuary is named in the top 25 sanctuaries to visit with the Indian forest department. The sanctuary is situated at a distance of 35 km from Dimapur. The wildlife sanctuary houses a variety of species like Elephants, Mithun, and sambhar, barking deer, flying squirrels, tiger, wild dog, sloth bear, Hornbill and black storks.
This sanctuary is the only place in India wherein you can find a rare Hoolok gibbon. The animals reside here in a proper and protected environment of the National Park. The park spreads over an area of 200 sq km. The park houses a number of other facilities for family outing and entertainment.
