About Mahamaya temple
The Mahamaya temple has a religious influence and is famous for its beautiful architecture. For many years, the temple has fascinated both archaeologists and historians from all over the country. The stunning monument is enclosed by an 18-inch thick boundary wall, which is supported by sixteen stone pillars. The temple is assumed to be built around the 12th century. The temple houses the deity of Mahakali, Bhadrakali, Surya Dev, Lord Vishnu, Lord Hanuman, Bhairav and Lord Shiva. The devotees all over the year visit this shrine.
