About Karumadi
Karumadi is a tiny village situated east of Alleppey. The village is well acclaimed for the Black Granite Statue which is the that of Lord Buddha. The statue dates back to 11th century when the Buddhism is at peak in Kerala. The statue is called as Karumadi Kuttan. This spot would the quick stop over while exploring the other adjoining attractions.
