About Dargah of Baley Miyan
A dargah, or Islamic meeing house, built by Qutb-ud-din Aybak in 1194. The dargah is dedicated to a local man Baley Miyan, (Ghazi Saiyyed Salar Masud). The man is considered a saint amongst Hindus and Muslims of North India. The dargah houses an annual fair during the Nauchandi mela, when the whole city celebrates with dancing, food, music and celebration.
