About Sringeri
Sringeri is a hill town where Sri Ad Shankra had built Kala Bhairava Temple in the East, Kere Anjaneya Temple in the West, Kalikamba Temple in the North and Durgamba Temple in the South of Sringeri. Other than these temples, Sringeri is famous for Sri Sharadamba temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and Sri Vidyashankara temple which is famous for its 12 pillars nominated to the 12 zodiac signs.
