About Shravan Samadh
Another heritage site that is located at about 6kms from Ajnala is one of the oldest heritage spots in Amritsar. It again is believed to have belonged to the age of Ramayana. As per the legend, Shravan who took his blind parents on pilgrimage was mistakenly killed by an arrow from King Dasrath at this very spot. It is believed that he lies buried here. The tomb is located on the edge of an ancient river brook.
