About Ram Bagh and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum

Ram Bagh is an expansive space of garden along the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

The summer palace is a stunning architectural marvel with an interesting self-cooling system. Once the grand palace of a valiant king, now it is a beautifully maintained Museum telling visual history to its visitors.

The garden around the palace was named by the king as a tribute to Guru Ram Das, the founder of the city. A huge fortified gate that was once used by the royalty to enter the garden grounds stands evidence to its glorious past.
