About Mampara Peak
Nestled at an altitude of 5250 feet, Mampara Peak or Raja’s Cliff is an amazing view point in Nelliampathi. The landscape is very coarse and so few spots can only be accessed by a ride in a Jeep. The rest need to be walked up to. Elephants, Leopard, Sambar are few of the wildlife species around in the area. It is a treat for bird watchers too. Lush green valley with tea and coffee plantation is an enthralling sight. The view of Pothundi Dam is a spectacular sight from Mampara peak.
