About Aptaeshwar Temple
The Apteshwar Temple is one of the three most famous temples of Pushkar. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Apteshwar Temple was destroyed by Aurangzeb during the Mughal invasion, it was rebuilt later. The shrine here is underground and it is said that each year it goes deeper. This legend adds to the aura of the temple and the temple sees a huge devotee turnout.
