About Sahastradhara
The exotic picnic spot, Sahastradhara is a not-to-be-missed spot in Dehradun. Sahastradhara means “Thousand fold Spring”. This springs of Baldi River flows down the lovely hills in this green valley. Tourists all over the world are attracted by the splendid beauty of this place. This spectacular picnic spot is located 6 km from Rajpur road which links Mussoorie with Dehradun. The springs are believed to have medicinal value. The ropeway is available to take the tourists to top of the hill. At the top, tourists can come across a Shiv Temple and Joyland. Children can have fun in Joyland water slides and swings. Inside the cave in the Shiv Temple, tourists can see water dripping from the roof of the cave.
