About Gauri Shankar Mandir, Bhiwani
Gauri Shankar Mandir is located in Bhiwani and was constructed by Seth Kirorimal in 1951. There are three idols in the temple which include the idols of gauri and Shankar in the middle and on both the sides, idols of laxmi narayan and Radha Krishna.
On the pillars, writings of bhagwad gita, celestial songs and sayings of saints and poets are engraved. Moreover the visitors can also see the carvings of several Hindu mythological scenes on the walls and pillars of the temple. During the eve of Sharawan Shukla Purnima till Janmashtmi, a large number of locals and tourists visit the temple as Jhankis are exhibited.
It is one of the important and pious religious sites of Haryana. The temple is also architecturally rich with simple yet beautiful structure. Visit the place to soothe your mind and soul.
