Rasmancha is a magnificent temple has been built by King Bir Himbira in 17th century having a pyramidal summit, sitting on Laterite platform. It has unique style in whole of India. The internal chamber of the shrine is enclosed by three consecutive galleries. During ‘Ras’ festival, every image, large or small, in the form of Deities was taken to every adjoining shrine or temple and displayed in galleries to general crowd. Since such exhibit was managed of the idols during Malla rule so the temple was called ‘RasManch’. ASI has managed to highlight it with arrangement of lighting facilities and terracotta craftsmanship. The monument used to stage dances in evenings to celebrate scenes from the Krishna Leela.
Entrance cost is Rupees five.
