This fort was built in 319 BC by Chandragupta. This place has witnessed a lot of conflicts has still been standing on. The army was sought out here, they could sustain fairly for 12 years, and that much storage space for food and water was available. The ‘security’ in their times, for this fort was sorted. People, if they did get through the huge caves, had to face a valley with crocodiles, before they got in. this place is really fascinating and one could easily spare one whole day for this fort, it’s open from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening.
