About Juna Jain Temple, Barmer
Juna is a locality which is at a distance of 12 km from Barmer, which is said to have been built somewhere around the 12th or 13th century, which is now pretty desolate. This is a fort which lies close to the Balark Sun temple and it is this place that lies in the centre of hills and adjacent to a lake; the sight is delightful. There is a stone pillar with an inscription that confirms that it is a Jain temple. There is a small well down below. In all, even though this place is in ruins, there are a lot of stories here; some related to the inhabitants who migrated from here, but every place has a story after all.
