Kiradu Ancient Temples, Barmer , Barmer
About Kiradu Ancient Temples, Barmer
Kiradu, earlier also known as Kiratkoop, is a place at a distance of 35 km from a village Hathma, in Barmer and is a place worth a stop. A total of five temples is included in this; with the biggest one of Lord Shiva called as the Someshvara temple, and the other four of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Being from the Panwara district, the Solanki style of architecture is very prominent here. The architecture keeps you in a daze and interests mostly archaeologists and people who dwell themselves completely into art. The design and structure is mind boggling and the whole temple has beautiful sculptures of deities. Even though it is at a distance a little further away from the other tourist attractions, this place is one that needs to be ticked up on in your check list for Barmer.
