About Devarahole
Being a part of Shalmala River, Devarahole attracts many pilgrims. Devarahole is a part of lush green vegetations of Sahyadri Range. On the rocky banks of the river, there are carvings depicting Goddess Durga, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Anjaneya etc. These carvings date back to 16th and 17th century. Even though river water gushes over these carvings at few places, the carvings are visible. On the occasions of Shivaratri, thousands of pilgrims throng Devarahole.
