About Harangi Dam
Harangi Dam or Reservoir is a masonry dam constructed across river Harangi. Harangi River, which is a tributary of river Cauvery, originates from Pusphagiri Hill of Western Ghats. Having 846 meters of length, Harangi reservoir is an ideal place for picnics. Strolling over the dam paths and inhaling the fresh air will relax you a lot.
