About Jalmandir Temple
Jalmandir Temple as the name implies is situated amongst a lake that is blooming with lotuses. The temple is dedicated to lord Mahivra and is believed to be containing his mortal remains on the premises. It was built King Nandivardhan, who was the sibling of Lord Mahivra. The temple has a beautiful edifice and is constructed in the shape of Vimana. You can reach the temple by crossing a stone viaduct, which is about 600 feet long and runs across the bank to the temple.
