About Teen Darwaza
The Teen Darwaza means Three doors, which is situated in the western part of the fort. The middle one named the Teen Darwa is the tallest and has images of lions and Lord Ganesha. The Other two entrances are named as Char Darwaja and Wagh Darwaja. The Char darwaja was destroyed during the British siege. The Teen Darwaza was used by the Britishers and opened into a nine domed hall. All three declare that the gate "was built in the reign of Ibrahim Adil Shah-I by Malik Daud Aki son of Minister Ahmed" in 1534 AD.
