About Pasighat
Pasighat is about 270 kms from Itanagar and is considered the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of Siang river, which is a main tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra. At an altitude of 152 mt above sea level, Pasighat also makes for a scenic destination, attracting tourists to enjoy its splendor. Adventure seekers come to Pasighat to enjoy river rafting and water sports at the Siang. The Daying Ering Sanctuary in the town is also a popular tourist attraction. Kekar Monying and Pangin are also places of attraction.
