About Aruvikkara
Arruvikara is sixteen kilometers from Trivandrum. It is a place of pilgrimage and a tourist attraction in its own right. There is a temple on the riverbank dedicated to Goddess Bhagvathy. She signifies female power. Some visitors are also amused by the shoal of fishes that allow themselves to be fed by visitors. There is a dam nearby which can be paid a visit.
