About Valvan Dam
A short trip from the city center and a pleasant walk brings you to this wonderful spot that is a splendid art of nature. The dam which is fed by Khandali River forms a source of water for the Khopoli Power Station below. The expansive layer of blue green tinged water that glistens under the sunshine is a pleasant and delightful sight. The little trimmed garden that sits at one corner of this Dam is yet another charming surprise filled with blossoms of various flowers and other plants.
