About Jatayu Nature Park
Jatayu Nature Park, is an under construction amusement park at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district of Kerala. The first phase of the park will open in February 2016. This is the first park in India which has been build under Public Private Partnership. The first phase will have more than 20 games, which include, rappelling, ATVs, paint ball, laser tag, archery, rock climbing, etc..
The Jatayu Nature Park spreads over 65 acres of land, has a huge sculpture of Jatayu, the mythological vulture who tried to save Sita from Ravana. The Jatayu sculpture is conceived by the renowned filmmaker Rajiv Anchal. Standing 70ft. tall, 200 feet long and 150 feet broad the Jatayu structure will have a floor area of 15,000 square feet. It will house a unique digital museum, a 6D theatre, many exclusive technological wonders and a birds eye view experience from 1,000 feet above sea level. The park will also have South India's first state-of-the-art cable car.
