About Panna National Park
Situated in the Vindhya hills along the calm Ken River, the Panna National Park is huge plateau full of lush tropical forests, deep gorges and waterfalls. Set amidst the steep mountains and steady plains, this is a favorite spot animal enthusiasts. This park used to be habitat for over 40 Tigers few years ago, but tiger population has reduced to single digits in recent years.You can also spot many other animals like sloth bear, wolf, Chinkara and Samber.
Panna National Park won Award of Excellence in 2007 for the best maintained national park of India by the Ministry of Tourism of India. Park timings are 6:30 to 10:30 AM & 2:30 to 5:30 PM.
