About Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary

Declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1980, Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of India, the Aravalli range.
Spread over an area of almost 300 Sq KMs and elevation varying from 300m to 1722m. , the sanctuary houses leopard, sloth bear, wild boar as well as two hundred and fifty different kinds of birds. There are also many species of orchids. Breathe the mountain air and walk among the colors and calls of the forest.
Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary can be visited throughout the year and there are plenty of accommodation choices available in Mount Abu.
