Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park Is located on the bailey road in the heart of Patna city. The park is one of the largest in India and opened its gates to the public in the year 1973.The park is spread over 60 acres of land. The park is a habitat for more than 800 animals of about 110 species. You can easily spot animals like the tiger, leopard, jackal, gharial, python, Indian rhinoceros, giraffe, zebra, emu, white peacock, black bucks, spotted deer, hippopotamus and many more. The park is not only rich in fauna but also flora. The biological garden at the park contains more than 300 species of plants and herbs. You can also spot a big aquarium, which houses more than 30 varieties of snakes and fishes.
