About Tirupur
Tirupur is located on the banks of Noyyal River and is the district headquarters. Famous as the textile town one can crack the best of deals for the new branded wardrobe at any of the shops. Also visit the Tirupathi temple, the Avinashiappar temple and the Sukreeswara temple in Tirupur. The temple of Chellandi Amman situated on the banks of River Noyyal displays link to the early Chola period and has some marvelous stone carvings to admire.
