About Panchavaktra Temple
Built in dedication to the Lord Shiva, the temple of Panchavaktra stands at the confluence, between the Beas and Suketi rivers. Inside, the idol of Shiva has 5 faces. It’s an excellent example of the Shikhara style of architecture. For its’ significance to the period, the Panchavaktra temple has been awarded protected status under the national heritage scheme.
