About Kalyaneshwari Temple
The Kalyaneshwari Temple is known as the “temple of the goddess of fulfillment”. It is visited by childless women who are seeking blessings from the Goddess. The city is located at the banks of river Barakar, 7km from the GT Road. The temple is believed to be 500 years old. It is said that the temple was reconstructed by the king Harigupta in 3rd B.C.. The temple is also very close to another famous tourist spot Maithan thus attracting thousands of tourists every year.
