About Govindrajalu Gutta
Gutta means “hill” in Telugu. This hill houses a temple dedicated to Lord Rama atop. 100 rock cut steps help the tourists reach the top. At the basement of the hill there is a shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman, a die-hard devotee of Lord Rama. The chariot found in the temple, made of precious materials was said to be constructed by Hazaris (Carpenters) of Warangal. The Rama Navami festival is celebrated in grand fashion in this temple.
