  • You will be driven to Warangal, which is approximately 145 km from Hyderabad, and it might take three and a half hours to reach Warangal. 
  • Once you reach Warangal, you can visit the following places:
  • Thousand Pillar Temple: This temple, although commonly referred to as the Thousand Pillar Temple, is officially known as the Rudreshwara Temple. It is an architectural marvel built during the Kakatiya dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Vishnu, and Surya (the sun god). The name "Thousand Pillar Temple" comes from the temple's unique pillared hall. The temple is renowned for its exquisite stone carvings and sculptures.
  • Warangal Fort: The Warangal Fort, built during the Kakatiya dynasty, is a significant historical landmark. The fort complex includes remnants of several structures, such as gateways, temples, and a stone throne believed to have been used by the Kakatiya rulers.
  • Kakatiya Rock Garden: This unique garden is located near Fort Warangal. It features sculptures made from rocks depicting various animals, birds, and human figures. The garden offers a serene environment for leisurely walks and picnics.
  • Khush Mahal, also known as Shitab Khan Mahal, is close to Warangal Fort and was built by Tughluqs in the 14th century.
  • Shri Bhadrakali Temple & Lake: Dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, this temple is one of the oldest and most revered in Warangal. It is situated on a hill called the Bhadrakali Gutta and attracts devotees throughout the year, especially during festivals like Bonalu and Dasara. Situated near the Bhadrakali Temple, this picturesque lake is a popular spot for boating and enjoying serene views of the surrounding landscape.
