Yala National Park, the second largest wildlife park in Sri Lanka is also home to dense forests, grasslands, and lagoons. The entire national park is spread across an area of 1268 sq km and is rich in wildlife like the leopards, elephants, sloth bears, sambar deer, wild boar, water buffalo, jungle fowl and crocodiles.You are sure to encounter some of these wild animals on your safari. Some of the other species that are found here are mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, etc. Arrive early in the morning and go on a jeep safari as the chance of the see the wild animals are more during this time.

5:00am: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel situated in Galle, Unawatuna, Weligama or Mirissa and drive to Yala.
8:00am: You will arrive at Yala National Park where you will be getting in to a customized safari vehicle to start your morning game drive.
8:30am-12:30pm: Experience the thrilling adventure of Yala National park with your guide who will share his knowledge of the animals that call this wildlife kingdom home, including roaming elephants and more leopards per area than anywhere else on the planet!
